A Messy Person's Guide to Keeping a Room Clean

!±8± A Messy Person's Guide to Keeping a Room Clean

The process of cleaning a room is no fun. It is a stressful and dirty process. I often find that I usually end up having to clean my room when last minute guests are coming over. Because of this, I have gotten pretty good at figuring out what's important and how to efficiently clean a room fast.

If you are an organized person, this article is probably not for you. But if you have trouble keeping your room in order, read on.

One easy to way to keep excess dust in check is to get a dust buster. They don't take up much space and can be purchased for pretty cheap. They are great at sucking up large piles of dust that always seem to form in any room.

If you live in a small space, then you may want to get a Swiffer WetJet as opposed to a mop. They are very portable and can easily be stored in any crevice around the home.

The most important way to keep your room clean is to get into a habit of making your bed in the morning. If your bed is made, it gives the rest of your room the appearance of being clean even if it is not.

Another important step to take is get in the habit of putting your clothes back in the drawer or closet after you wear them. If they are dirty, then obviously the laundry bin is where they should go, not the floor.

Try to clean your windows once every few weeks. They have a tendency to get very dirty fast.

Another step to take is to make sure your shoes are always together. Somehow shoes have a tendency to get away from each other, but if you keep them together, then they will take up half the space.
